Monday - Thursday • 9 AM - 1:00 PM
AGES: 2.5 and up
2-day; 3 day; and 4 day options
Young children learn within the context of relationships, as they observe and connect with parents, caregivers, and peers. When these social connections take place between early learners of different ages, the result can be especially positive for children’s social learning and skill-building.
SOME OF THE BENEFITS OF MIXED AGE EDUCATION INCLUDE:
Improved academic outcomes: Older children can help younger children with tasks that they may struggle with.
Boosted social skills: Interaction with peers of different ages encourages negotiation and cooperation.
Encouraged emotional well-being: Exposure to different perspectives and experiences fosters empathy.
Increased self-confidence: Older children can serve as role models for younger children.
Stability: Mixed-age classrooms provide a consistent learning environment.
Real-world experience: Exposure to diverse abilities and interests promotes holistic development.
